Yesterday I believe she was dilated to 7, but then it dropped to a 4, and I think she spent the night at a 4. I guess it was a horrible night for her.
Anyways, Maria is tiny (like 5 ft tall), and the baby was I think near 8 lbs. They decided to go ahead and do a Caesarean. So the baby was born this morning. But after the baby was born, they said that Maria was crying, and I didn´t know why. Well it turns out that after the baby was born, they took the baby, and Maria or Pablo didn´t see the baby for I think like 8 hours. I don´t know why they had her for so long, but they did for some reason.
We went to the hospital this afternoon during visiting hours, and Pablo & Maria were with the baby, and were happy, although Maria was very tired. Maria has a lot of healing to do. But the baby is very pretty, and looks completely healthy. Maria will be able to go home on Monday.

Today Eliana had to take a bus to the bank, so I took care of Andrew by myself. We had formula ready. Right as Eliana was about to leave, Andrew woke up. He would fuss a little, and I would put the bottle in his mouth, but he would just play with it. So I would put the bottle down and wait a bit, and he would fuss, and I would put the bottle in his mouth, and he would play with it again. I don´t know how many times that happened. Of course when the bottle was in his mouth, he would smile. But finally he drank some milk. He does not like the formula much, but he will drink it. Then I put him in his stroller, and pushed him around to keep him entertained. I couldn´t stop because he would fuss. When Eliana got home, and Andrew saw her, he let out a loud scream... ¨AAHHHH!¨. He had a big smile, and was so happy to see her.

Maria is in the hospital again, and she is dilated to a 7.. that is what Eliana said. So maybe by now she is an 8 or maybe the baby is already born. We are very excited to meet our new niece, and Andrew´s new cousin. Can´t wait to get a photo of Andrew laying beside Grace.
Pablo asked me what we would have named our baby if it had been a girl, and I said Grace Justina. Of course Grace is an english name, and is spanish for ¨gracia¨. They liked that name so much they decided to name their baby that, and that is good. It is a good name for their baby because they have not been able to have a baby, and have been married for years, but soon they will have their baby in their arms. It is because of God´s love and GRACE.

Eliana got some shots of Andrew on my shoulders. That is the first time we had done that. I think before long, Andrew will be yanking on my hair when I do that. That is not good, because enough is falling out by itself without Andrew´s help.

He is like a clock.

He is like a clock, because he always seems to turn clockwise. When he is on his tummy, he will turn himself around. Sometimes he does it a lot in his crib, and one night he had turned himself completely around. He is the only clock in the world that runs on milk.
I believe it was yesterday he turned himself over for the first time all by himself. Eliana saw it, I didn´t. He was on his tummy, lifted his head and chest up, and rolled himself over.
Andrew is starting to be able to grab things, and is getting to be very good at getting the side of his hand in his mouth. He does not like pacifiers, but prefers his hand.
The other day Eliana was sitting on the couch with Andrew, and the little dog jumped up there, and Andrew started kicking his legs, as if he was trying to kick the dog. He may have been just exercising though.
Andrew is such a calm baby. I know some people have babies that cry all the time, and I figured we would have one of those, but Andrew rarely cries. Usually he will yell... waaaa! and then several seconds later, another waaaa! But its not real often that he actually cries. But that will probably change when he starts teething. I heard there is a medicine to put on the gums to help with the pain when a baby is teething, has anybody tried that?
It seems Maria is going into labor, although I think she is just starting, and so maybe she won´t go to the hospital for a day or more. I really don´t know much about it, Eliana talked to her and Pablo, but it seems that maybe the baby will be born within 2 or 3 days.

Andrew will soon have a new cousin. He will no longer be the baby in the family. His aunt Maria and uncle Pablo are now in the hospital, and Maria may give birth to a baby girl either today or tomorrow, but we don´t yet know for sure.. they may end up sending her home to wait there. The babies name will be Grace. So once she is here, we will lay Andrew down beside her, and I know Andrew will be just huge compared to her. Andrew has learned a lot, so he will have much to show and teach her. Pablo and Maria have been wanting to have a baby for years, but have not been able to until now. So it is very exciting.
