today

Today we were downstairs eating breakfast, and Elianas father had a bread roll, and gave it to Andrew to see what he would do with it. Well Andrew grabbed it with both hands, and gripped it so tight it was smushing the roll. He put it to his mouth, and licked it. Eliana then took it away from him, and he did not like that at all, and started fussing. So Eliana gave it back to him, and he did the same thing. When Eliana took it away from him again, he started crying, and if he could talk, he probably would have said ¨that is mine!, grandpa gave it to me¨. Well the only thing that settled him down was flying him around like superman, and so he forgot about the roll. The doctor said to wait longer until we start feeding him anything other than milk. But he seems ready to start eating something. He is a little more than 4 months old. I read to start with a little rice cereal mixed with milk. I think that is what my mom told me too.
And then we went to the bedroom, and layed him down to rest, and he would have none of that, and started fussing. I let him lay there for a minute to see if he would calm down, but he wouldn´t. So Eliana picked him up, and sat on the bed, and bounced up and down. The harder she bounced, the more he laughed and screamed. She really got to bouncing, and I thought he would not like it, but he loved it. He is going to be like me when I was a kid, always on the go, and wanting to do new things.
And then I was talking to Andrew, and I got right up near his face, and he put his hand out, and grabbed my glasses. He pulled them off my face, and as far as he was concerned they were now his. I think he likes my glasses because he can very easy put his hand around them.
Andrew sure is a lot of fun. He loves to laugh, and play. He wants to see everything. Can´t wait for my parents to see him and Eliana. That will be a very special day.

I am trying to make a sad face for the camera, because he pulled my glasses off my face.

I love that his eyes are crossed in the last picture! haha
Jacob started baby food at 3 months (supposed to be anywhere from 4-6 months) and was on all table food at 7 months (should be more like 10-12 months)...he liked his food and he saw the real stuff and just refused to eat the baby food from then on!
