Today Andrew had another vaccine. It was actually a shot with multiple vaccines. He has to have 3 of them, and this was the second. Had to go into the part of the hospital where only one parents is allowed to enter, and so I had to stay in the waiting room. Eliana said he really cried, but Eliana gave him lots of kisses, and I know he likes those.
This is the shot that I think usually causes babies to have some fever, and so he has a little fever now. But he is doing well.
Tonight he had his eyes closed, and was I think half a sleep, and Eliana gave him kisses, and he just laughed and laughed, and didn´t even open his eyes. I think he might have been ticklish, because she gave him kisses near his ear.
We have started laying Andrew on a blanket, and then we both grab a side of it, and pick him up, and swing him in it, and make it go up and down. Wow, does he love that. When we just swing it a little, he doesn´t really laugh, but when we swing him higher, he just laughs, and loves it. Of course he has to suck on his hand at the same time. It is like us eating popcorn while watching a movie, except Andrew sucks on his hand. When we stop, and put him down, he will start to fuss, because he wants to be swung more.
When he is awake, and feeds, he kicks, and squirms, and Eliana has a hard time feeding him. Yesterday I tried holding onto his leg, and keep him from kicking, but his legs are so strong I could not do it. I couldn´t believe how strong he was.
During the night he will want to feed, and start moving around, but he doesn´t actually wake up. Eliana will feed him, but he sleeps and feeds at the same time. So that is really neat, and its really easy for Eliana to feed him then.
Off the subject, but Andrea Bocelli is coming to do a concert here in Lima. So that is a big thing here. The tickets are expensive, so we won´t be going, but Elianas sister did buy some videos of him and his concerts, and we enjoy seeing those. He sure can sing.
Can´t wait to come to the United States, and we know it will happen in God´s time. I can´t say for sure, but I have a feeling it will be this summer.
